My weekend with P is almost over.


We have played many a game, of which she thinks I have the most wins. We have watched 9.5 movies (we are watching one now,) eaten copious amounts of Double Peanut Butter cookies and other foods, stayed up late and slept in late (as much as possible with a 3 and 1 year old.)

I just realized I never posted this.

I just won my third game of scrabble. P's rating is almost into the 500s. She finds the 500s to be loathsome, but I don't mind her being there. She does however start playing like a pointmonger when her rating gets to low.

We could have played much sooner than we had, but P fell asleep. I tried calling, but she didn't answer.

E was an extra pip tonight. She didn't like my decision to have her leave her brother's room so I could put him to bed. She stomped her foot several too many times. With her foot stomping, she was put to bed first. She liked that even less. She cried and carried on for half an hour and finally succumbed to sleep on her floor next to the door. She usually goes to bed fine.

I still can't connect to the internet, using the laptop. I got the new wireless adaptor. the router is not picking up the internet signal or something like that.

I tried again with Verizon today to fix it. He did a bunch of tests on the line and all was for naught. Still can't connect. He gave up and told me to call Sony, the brand of my laptop for new settings or drivers or something. Big help he was.

Anyway, I am also packing for a trip to the cabin (see my very first post.)

I hope to have relaxing weekend with my family - G and the kids, my parents, sister and the dog.

We might even be able to leave on time.
