Hurricane Irene

We are almost back to before the hurricane. Just our cable is still out. But that is far better to live without than power.

We lost electricity, internet and cable sometime early Sunday morning. We awoke without it. The phone went out sometime in the afternoon.

We got our electricity back on Monday at 2:10. The sump pump hose started spouting water and I ran inside to verify with the lights.

Sometime this morning we got our phone and internet back. The phone rang, which tipped me off. It was a message saying that there were still people in our development that didn't have power and PPL is hoping to have it back on Friday. I don't know why part of Indian Rocks has power and part doesn't, but I am thankful to be in the part that does.
