The kids were paid today for their labors this week. They also paid their fines. Maybe some day their pay will exceed their fines. But not today.
They also did some extra jobs around the house this week to buy a birthday present for me. It was good for them to use money they earned to buy something, instead of us just handing it to them. Josh got me a hard sided foldable tote, and Ellie got me a bag of heart-shaped peppermint patties.
They certainly do like having jobs and earning money.
